Actress and Producer Hester Ruoff began her career producing a variety of award winning shorts, including Bafta-longlisted ‘GERRY’ starring Joan Collins.

She moved into features with the groundbreaking one shot drama ‘Boiling Point’ starring Stephen Graham and its incredible ensemble cast, which received an incredible eleven 2021 BIFA nomi

Actress and Producer Hester Ruoff began her career producing a variety of award winning shorts, including Bafta-longlisted ‘GERRY’ starring Joan Collins.

She moved into features with the groundbreaking one shot drama ‘Boiling Point’ starring Stephen Graham and its incredible ensemble cast, which received an incredible eleven 2021 BIFA nominations (4 wins) and 4 Bafta nominations including for herself Outstanding debut producer. 


She merged her production company Burton Fox Films with producing partner Bart Ruspoli to become Ascendant Fox producing ‘Gassed Up’ for Amazon Prime, (Stephen Odubola, Taz Skylar, Steve Toussaint, Mae Muller) as their first movie out of the blocks as a new company. Her debut TV series with The BBC and BBC studios as a follow up to the film with Matriarch and Made up prods is soon to be released alongside 4 other features she produced.  Hester strives to create a safe, inclusive and encouraging environment on set, that allows cast and crew to flourish in their gifting. 


Hester will be the perfect mentor for actors that want to get into producing,  film producers that want to move to TV.

Lisa Ohlin has made five dramatic feature films for theatrical release,
several TV series, eight feature length crime episodes, short films and
commercials. She has staged original plays, a major musical and written a book about filmmaking which will be published in blog on the FFC Website.

Lisa Ohlin has made five dramatic feature films for theatrical release,
several TV series, eight feature length crime episodes, short films and
commercials. She has staged original plays, a major musical and written a book about filmmaking which will be published in blog on the FFC Website.

Her film 'Simon And The Oaks' was nominated for 12 Swedish Oscars  (Guldbagge Awards) including Best Director and was Sweden’s fourth largest film ever, with a budget of €6,3 million.  


Her latest feature film, the Danish dramatic story “Walk with me” was produced by Oscar winning producer Per Holst (Pelle the conqueror). 


 In 2018-2021 she directed eight  90-minute Swedish crime shows, from the stylish “Stockholm Requiem” to the long running queen and king of Swedish crime, “Maria Wern” (produced by Warner Bros. Sweden), and “Beck”,(produced by Filmlance International), all for the main Swedish broadcaster TV4 and pay TV C-more Entertainment.  


Lisa Ohlin is the perfect mentor for a writer/director that has the passion and dedication for diving deep into their characters and is open to let other artforms inspire them.

She produced 31 films in the last 6 years and is currently involved with 8 coming up, spanning a range of genres, commissioned by leading independent distribution companies and financiers, with productions shot across the UK and Europe. Credits include 'Boudica' (Olga Kurylenco, Clive Standen), 'One Ranger' (Thomas Jane, John Malkovich), 'A bit Of Light' (Anna Paquin, Ray Winstone) and many more.

 CEO of WFTV for 11 years and was      awarded an MBE for her campaigning work for women in the film and TV      industries. Kate is also an award-winning producer and director, and is      passionate about developing female led film and TV projects. She is an Honorary Associate of the London Film School, a Visiting Professor at the Unive

Furthermore, she is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a member of BAFTA, Directors UK and co-chair of the Advisory Committee of Women in Film & Television International.  


Kate will be able to mentor you on pitching to the right producers to make sure you are confident and ready while also guiding you for your next step in your career as a filmmaker.
